Ford Expedition Performance Features

March 19th, 2021 by

The new Ford Expedition is just built differently than other large-size SUVs. The latest lineup has five different trims, including a base version with a twin-turbocharged V6 engine that puts out 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The Expedition has an engine made for long road trips, as well as the city commute every day. There are even premium trims with more horsepower and comfort.

The XL, XLT, and Limited versions of the Expedition all come with 375-horsepower output V6 engines. The premium top-tier trim is the Platinum Expedition that comes with 400 horsepower output and a number of driver assistance features. For example, drivers get the smoothest driving experience with an independent rear axle design that balances the size of the SUV with a powerhouse suspension system.

For Rochester drivers, it’s time to test drive one of these top-tier SUVs at West Herr Ford of Rochester. You can pick the trim you want to test, including the King Ranch version. All of the new Expedition models come with rear-wheel drive or 4WD.
